Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 09/03/2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Morphology Kit® Latin Progression Guided Lessons (the "Service"), operated by Sound Literacy Solutions LLC ("we", "us", "our"), owner of The Morphology Kit®. By purchasing access to, registering for, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

The Service provides online access to instructor-led video lessons, accompanying downloadable materials, and related tools supporting The Morphology Kit® Latin Progression. Access is delivered digitally through this application. No physical goods are shipped.

Purchases and Payment

Access to the Service is sold as a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. This means Paddle, not Sound Literacy Solutions LLC, is the seller of record for the transaction and is responsible for billing, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of any applicable sales tax or VAT.

Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms and policies. Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported and may vary by location as a result of local taxes and currency conversion.

Accounts and Access

An account is created for the email address used at checkout once your purchase completes. Accounts are not available by open registration — a completed purchase is what grants access. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

Student Access Codes

Where your purchase includes the ability to issue student access codes, those codes are provided so that the students in your own classroom, tutoring practice, or instructional setting can view lesson content. Student access is anonymous: redeeming a code does not require a student to create an account or provide a name, email address, or other personal information.

Access codes are issued to you and are for use with your own students only. You agree not to publish, sell, or otherwise distribute access codes beyond that group. We may revoke access codes that appear to be shared or used outside their intended scope, and access codes issued against a purchase that is later refunded or charged back will be revoked.

License and Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable single-user license to access the Service and use its materials for educational purposes with your own students. All content remains the property of Sound Literacy Solutions LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

The full scope of what you may and may not do with the materials is set out in our Copyright & Usage Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, materials may not be reproduced for others, redistributed, shared digitally or physically beyond your own students, uploaded to shared drives or learning platforms, posted online, resold, sublicensed, or used for commercial purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with any other person
  • Attempt to download, record, scrape, or circumvent access controls on video content
  • Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service in a way that breaches applicable law or infringes the rights of others
  • Use the Service or its materials to create a competing or derivative instructional product
Refunds and Cancellation

Our refund and cancellation terms are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and to add to and improve its content over time. We may update, add, or remove lessons and features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms — for example, by redistributing materials or sharing account credentials — or where a purchase is refunded or charged back. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Statement, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service and its materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis for instructional use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant any particular educational or student outcome from use of the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sound Literacy Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer where those apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and provide notice through the application or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
